Kern-Kaweah Chapter

The Kern-Kaweah Chapter initiated a volunteer awards program shortly after it was founded in 1952. We honor those volunteers who have spent hours of time, and donated their special expertise, on behalf of conservation and the Sierra Club. Our hard-working volunteers have received both Chapter, California, and National awards!

Chapter Awards

Below are the recipients for the four awards the Kern-Kaweah Chapter gives out each year at its annual banquet. The Awards include the "Sierra Cup Award," the "Susan B. Miller/Ruth Allen Award," the "Chairman's Award," and the "Long Trail Award." Each award is given at the Chapter Banquet the year after the dates used here.
