Sierra Club

The Kaweah Group is located in Porterville, California. It also includes the commmunities of Camp Nelson, Springville, and Lindsay. The Group's focus has been centered on preserving the Sequoia National Forest and National Monument and monitoring activities that affect the forest.

We have at least three meetings a year and they are arrounced in the Chapter newsletter, The Roadrunner. We also often join in activities with our sister Sierra Club Group in Tulare County, the Mineral King Group, headquartered in Visalia.
