Our Two Email Lists

The Chapter sponsors two mailing lists for those interested in learning more about Chapter activities. You can subscribe to either, or both, as you wish.
(There are also California and National e-mail lists if you are interested.)

1. Join our KERN-NEWS e-mail list for if you would like to receive occasional chapter news and notice of the posting of the online edition of our newsletter, The Roadrunner.
Use our Web interface to join the KERN-NEWS list now.
(If you simply want to receive The Roadrunner online but not join the KERN-NEWS list, then contact: harold.wood@sierraclub.org.)

2. Join our KERN-FORUM e-mail list if you'd like to participate in e-mail discussions of environmental issues that affect the counties of Kern, Kings, and Tulare.

1. KERN-NEWS: Kern-Kaweah Chapter News List

The purpose of the KERN-NEWS list is to distribute news updates to Kern-Kaweah Chapter members and the interested public, including notices about the online posting of our chapter newsletter, Roadrunner.

Anyone may subscribe to (or unsubscribe from) the KERN-NEWS list by going to:

and clicking on "Join or leave the list."

Or, if you prefer:

Send an e-mail message to [cut and paste the message body into your e-mail]:

To: listserv@lists.sierraclub.org

with a one-line command in the message body stating [substitute your first and last name where indicated]:

SUBSCRIBE KERN-NEWS Yourfirstname Yourlastname

Replace "YourFirstName YourLastName" with your own first and last names.

Subject: [this line is ignored and may be left blank]

Posting is limited to designated chapter leaders.

2. KERN-FORUM: Kern Kaweah Chapter Discussion Forum

The purpose of the KERN-FORUM list is to provide a forum for members of the Kern Kaweah Chapter and any other interested persons to hold online discussions of environmental issues that affect our Chapter - which includes the counties of Kern, Kings, and Tulare.
